I also have a 7.62x39 upper from BCA that needed to be shot. Ended up leaving the 6mm ARC behind because I was running late this morning and hadn't cleaned the ARC barrel from the factory yet.

The 7.62x39 was 100% ready to go, cleaned and bore sighted. It shot great and functioned flawlessly with the 40 rounds of factory ammo I ran thru it today. Really happy with the upper so far

BCA 6mm ARC - 18" barrel with Aero Precision lower on the left, BCA 7.62x39 (AR-47) - 16" barrel with RRA lower on the right. ARC has a Vortex PST Gen2 5-25x50 scope, and AR-47 has a straight 4x prism Optic with built in laser.



5 shot group at 100 yards with AR-47 using 4x prism Optic and Winchester factory ammo. Had one flier but first 4 shots went into less than 1 MOA (1" squares on target)


After conforming zero, I fired 15 rounds at a rate of 1 round per second at 100 yards to see how she held with some heat on the pipe. Very satisfied with the performance of the BCA 7.62-39 upper. Excellent 100 yard accuracy at a fast rate of fire and only using a 4x optic. Total 15 shot group is about 2.5 MOA. With hand loaded ammo and after a good barrel break in, I expect it will only get better

I think I'm going to put an ARC bolt gun together also since I have all the reloading stuff for my 6 ARC ARs. Changing out all the stocks/chassis on my TL3s and will end up with one extra new chassis so got to make use of it. There's no end to putting new guns together. Got to get another TL3 with PPC bolt head, trigger, barrel, and optic. Hope there's enough room in the safe. LOL

Why not just get a 6 ARC barrel and a bolt face and use the TL3s you have? Save you a bunch of money.

Aren't you a Manners guy? What do you think of the MPA Matrix Pro?

Yup love my Manners but after trying my friend's MPA I got this one used and really like it. The grips on chassis always used to be my sticking point as they are basic AR grips but now with the better ergonomics they feel much better to use. I really like the Matrix Pro and actually ordered a Matrix Pro II and waiting for it to get delivered.

You don't care much for the MDT ACC? Did you order the Pro II with the lightweight Buttstock?

My buddy had one of those too and I tried it and it felt ok as it has a more vertical grip and thumbrest also but I liked the wider forend of the Matrix Pro also. You could almost use it on a bag without a plate. I also like the feel of the rear of the Martix pro better also. Nothing wrong with the MDT as lots like it but personal preference.

Yup I did order it with the lightweight competition butt so will see how that feels.

Realize this is for bolt guns, but those of you running gas guns what velocity are you getting with 105/107s? Would be running it out of a 26" or 28" barrel for across the course.

Finally got my 26" 6 ARC barrel from the brown van last evening so I screwed everything together and bore sighted the scope. Went to the range this AM in the rain to zero the scope. Luckily got zero in 2 shots at 100 yards since I found out I only brought 8 rounds of factory 105 BTHP Hornady ammo. At least Iwas able to get one 6 shot group at 100 yards. The range was surprisingly really crowded for some reason so it was probably a good thing to finish fast. Average velocity was 2717 fps.

Barrel is gettin spun up as we speak...super excited to see how it shoots. No more last min handloading if my plans works out like like my idea in my head. 7.5tw brux.

Not Afret but I use the MDT 6mm ARC mags and they work great.

Im hoping mdt 6br 12rd mags work and feed ok. We'll see how it goes

Well if you have them you can try them but the BR body is larger than the arc. Worst case is you pic up a couple mags to keep you going and then during Black Friday buy a couple more at half price. Don’t ask me how I thought that up. Lol
