Anything north of the diaphragm and you'll be eating goat!If this load pans out I plan to use it for an antelope hunt next month.

How far off the lands do you load the 105 Amax? I have not tried them touching or into the lands because of magazine restrictions, has anyone else? I'm considering a ACIS magazine for my RPR to solve that problem, but not excited to unless it helps. 105 Berger Hybrids certainly shoot more consistently for me at 0.030 off than the Amax's which seems to be their best depth I've tried.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Mr. M, The range on the doe was about 120 yards the caliber was a 22x47 lapua, also I shot 3 groundhogs this summer with the 22x47 over 500 yards the longest being 568 yards. I have shot 104 groundhogs this summer and have used the 22x47 on most of them. What caliber and what range?
So I fooled with the jump and improved things. 6x47L, 18 inch McGowan bull, Single shot Savage 110 action, 36x Sightron Big Sky, 105 A-Max, 35 grains Varget, 0.03 jump. 200 yard 8 shot string, .25 vertical and .75 horizontal. Slight right to left variable wind, 5 wind flags.... I am PP at reading them. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Now off to 500 yards. I just love it when a plan comes together!
