Anyone using a 105 A-max in 6mmAR?

Anyone using the 105 Hornady A-max or 105 Hornady HPBT in the Straight 6mmAR? Any luck with it? Any suggestions for a starting load. Im currently using H4895 and 95gr Bergers, but i just picked up a bunch of 105 Hornadys.

I run the turbo 40 (fat-rat version) and the hornadys work great. The dope that is given on the 6mmAR web site is really good. I would suggest starting with that. Ive tried H105 bthp in the lands but a 15-18 jump works in my rifle really nice and it easily fits in the mag.

I shoot the 6Rat version and shoot 105 Amax/BTHP interchangeably. Mostly AMP BTHPs now, i can't find Amax. I also throw in some Berger 108s (slightly different charge) .

Ive got a 6mmAR, standard, not the turbo or 40* imp. Anyone have a suggestion as to where to start my load development with the hornady 105 HPBT and H4895?

In mine, 27gr H4895 no more-no less. 2700 fps and very accurate.

If this is the bbl. I sold you, just use the data I gave you with the barrel. tonysnoo is spot on with a .010-.015 jump. I have a 2nd bbl. that is cut rifled, in it like the loads on the warm side. I'm getting 6BR velocities with the 90gr. pills and will finish sorting out the 105 load this week.

It is the barrel you sold me, but I dont remember the load data you gave me. Ill have to go back and check our emails. I was never planning on shooting the 105s but the 95gr Berger Classics I was shooting have become very hard to get locally, and I stumbled into a good bunch of the hornady 105's.
