6BRX die survey

Yes, Whidden used the same bushing as Redding or Wilson.

Over the last 5 yrs I have in the neighborhood of 10,000 rounds out of a BRX using only a straight BR Redding S full length bushing die. Yes, it leaves you with a click opening the bolt, however, I have always felt if your worried about the click to the point its a distraction your focused on the wrong things to be a winner. Recently Bob Green of Bob Green Custom Gunsmithing talked me into purchasing one of his custom 6BRX dies. I love it, no more click, I can "run them" without upsetting the the gun in the bags. The price is reasonable and as with all Bob's work, it's flawless.

I started out with an expensive die set from some fellow that made them from, I think, RCBS dies. The fL die was a bushing die. and the bullet seater was a micrometer die.
I ended up with a custom LEE collet die set with some extra custom mandrels for seating pressure tune. I also use an inline die for seating now. I took the guts out of the sizing die to use it for a body die.
The custom LEE die set is a real bargain! send two fired cases and a bullet you will use and you get back a precision die set for very little money.
Did Lee make the custom mandrels or you went somewhere else?
