I’m working with an older lot number of Vapor Trails I’ve been saving for ‘whatever’ reason .. Anyway i know i need further tuning but I sure do like these even with a bit of wind at 500 yds

Reloder 15.5 is performing well in my bra. 31.6 grns alpha brass Cci 450 with 105 hybrid. In a 30 inch 8 twist barrel velocity is around 2930. First 600 hundred yard match it shot 599-38 which was good enough for second. Posted final relay target which was a 200-15 and the only clean on the final relay

28.9 and 30.4 were best "groups" for two shots at 200 yds

I acquired several lbs of RT4895. Has anyone ever used it? Supposed to be very similar to H4895.

Has anyone had success with N135 in a BRA and 103-105 grain bullets at 600 /1000 yards. After a number of years I am again breaking in a new Krieger BRA. At 60 rounds extreme spreads are under 10 fps.

I’m running 135 in two dashers, it is better than 140.

In very limited testing I hit pressure around 2820 fps in bra with 103, but it was accurate, need to try again

Just did followup on alternatives to H4895 for 6BRA. Alliant RE15.5 is shooting very well at 31.3-31.5 grains with one of the 103 custom bullets out there. In fact, I think no matter the powder you choose, the 103's are a perfect fit to the 6BRA.

You guys could just simply say it hold 17 of the 20 ibs records at 1,000 lol.

I still like 4895 as my first choice, but 8208 and varget have worked in barrels that turned their noses up at 4895 so far for me.

I celebrated my 6 year anniversary of my first BRA barrel by spending the morning at deep creek this morning.
