Currently using 30.54g of Varget, Alpha brass and Bergers 105 Hybrid Target bullets. With the Bergers hard to find locally, what other bullets would be a good choice for competitions?

The Vapor Trail 106s work well in my 6BRA.

Try the 107 gr. SMKs. Start into the lands .010" or so and work out. The Berger 105 gr. VLD Targets are fine bullets, just not as easy as the Hybrids.

Once you "Jam" the 107 SMK's into the Lands ( .010 to .015 ) I seriously DOUBT that, most shooters will ever,..
move them,.. back Out !
My 6 XC group's, SHRUNK, in Half ( High 3's, Low 4's to, LOW, .2's ) with, 107 gr. SMK's,.. "Jammed"
Love my SHORT Free bore of, .104 and, the reasonably priced, 107 grain, "Tipped",.. SMK's.
Just remember to, REDUCE your Powder charge by, 1/2 to One grain,.. IF, "Jamming" bullets.

Dave Bullet Central sells his bullets and i have shot both the 108 and 105 with great success. I have talked to and texted with Ken and always had a pleasant conversation

Bart's 103's....they are the only bullet for 6's in my opinion....they are available, they are priced fairly and they are very accurate and easy to tune....plus they are built by a pretty damn good guy!!!

I don’t feel like “they” trashed your brass.

Sounds like maybe you ran them too hot.

They have never not emailed me back in a matter of minutes. Never had much luck on the phone either.

I picked up some 109 hybrids. I think I’ll shoot them in my GT rather than my BR. We shall see though. I could care less about speed so maybe I should try them in the BR. The 109 have great BC.

Message him on either of his fb pages or text him, he will get back with you. He is a one man show and way behind just like everyone else. I shoot his 105 Barnstormers in my BRA with 31.8 Varget and .043 jump and they shoot extremely well

They have a much longer bearing surface than the 105 hybrids……must reduce charge
