Have had quite a few rifles with a blued receiver and stainless barrel always thought it looked fine, not sure I can say the same about the opposite, what do you all think?

I think it would look better if the action was Bead blasted to a mat finish, and if the barrel wasn't a take off already blued, I would bead blast that first before bluing so its a mat finish and it would look better.

It’s a new barrel I had it blued since it’s chrome moly, I can blue the bolt as well, might just send reciever for nitride?

Nitride is some nice stuff and it would look great.

I’d do as you mention and nitride the receiver or at a minimum blue the bolt. It certainly is different than a blued receiver and stainless barrel, not bad, just different.
