40-X Question

I'm wondering why the older DuPont built 40-X rifles seem to bring less value than the newer stainless action models. I'm a big fan of the older blued action/stainless barrel 40-X rifles, and believe all of the DuPont models had better fit/finish than newer production. Can anyone enlighten me?

Stainless action & stainless barrels are more cosmetically pleasing to the eye compared to blued actions & stainless barreled rifles.
Times change.
I'll take a CrMo receiver any day over S/S for its tempering & non galling qualities.

Current so called CNC'd N.C. headquartered Remington actions/bolts/handles/trigger groups leave a lot to be desired.
The only plus is they aren't investment cast receivers like others.
