Just to get 3x fired brass ready for harrels.. not possible to screw the die up enough not to touch the shoulders and bushingdown so at least a small part of the neck is sized holding the bullet? The 6br seater will not work?
Really you don't need to send them case's if you have a 6Bra based off off wheeler reamer just call an tell them send you a die BRA number 3 an your done then all you have to do is get a seater.Just to get 3x fired brass ready for harrels.. not possible to screw the die up enough not to touch the shoulders and bushingdown so at least a small part of the neck is sized holding the bullet? He was talking about opening the neck up so you won't be sizing neck without a bushing he just want to make sure you have clearance.
If you have the print just tell what the neck is on the print.
Yes youll need to turn the necks. Youll need about .003-.004 clearance for prsI am starting to suspect I am being sent a tight neck reamer. Reamer spec on neck I am being told is .2680. Loaded rounds with lapua cases is .2680... for Prs, a chamber with close tolerances like this (and turned necks) will lead to malfunctions?
I did order normal 6bra reamer wheeler spec. After a Google search I see Wheeler did use .2680. Guess I will have to buy neck turning tools.
The reamer JGS stocks is my 6BRA #1 reamer, it does have a .268 neck. If you want a no turn version, just ask for a 6BRA #1 with a .272 or .273 neck on it, no other changes. You will need to wait for it to be made, they dont stock them.
