Setting up for bra

My no turn reamer is the same but with a 272 neck. Thats enough clearance for anything unless you dont clean your gun ever maybe. Had a few in PRS for 2 years now, guys seem to like them in that game too.

Thank you very much sir. For this and all of your advice and wisdom you have shared over the years.

I just finished fire forming a 100 rounds with your reamer on a kreiger 28” barrel with 7-1/2 twist. What load should I start with for load development? I have all the powders and primers listed here on the forums. This rifle is replacing my dasher for a PRS rifle.
I’d start at 30.4 of varget and 30 h4895 with 105 hybrids. My 7.5 is slooooowwww. I didn’t hit 2950 until 32.2 of varget but that doesn’t seem like the norm. But I found great accuracy at 30.8 varget for 300yrds. Mine is a 26” bartlien btw.

Well. With my barrel and setup using h4895 here is my results.

30.5 gr was 2975 avg
30.6 gr was 2990 avg
30.7 gr was 3009 avg

After looking at the results i am leaning towards the 30.7 gr of h4895, the speed was right there with my dasher speed and now I just need to adjust seating depth.

Good work. All I care to say about "loads" is that full load development should be done, especially with a cartridge thats new to you. Seen far too many chase their tails with other peoples loads or random poke and hope type methods. Your in the ball park, you should find it in there. So long as your barrel likes the bullet.

All three loads are very promising with sub moa results.
Now to play with seating depth with the 105 hybrids on the 30.6 and 30.7 grains of powder.
