6BR LOAD VS 6BRA

Why didn't you show up to the NBRSA Nats in Sacramento to demonstrate the capabilities of the non-6bra chamberings?

JP
Too busy with the paying projects. And i am shooting F class at least 3 times month right now and have been for a good while..
I think Tim did a very good job as a relatively new shooter at that event using my 6br chamber. Oh wait it must be special and unique, the new, 6BR-51, and of course it is.
If a guy wants to make a change for the sake of trying something different, fair enough we all do it, for the end all premiere cartridge, no way no how.
Ill try to make the next one at Sac but who knows. There is plenty of shooting every month, i dont actually need to prove anything i already understand clearly and have proven many times.

Just curious is your 6br chambering any different to the standard BR dimensions?

Yes. Nothing radical, as with most of these cartridges a number of dimms have been optimized based on a certain bullet that has proven very successful , matched with certain dies.
I own the design , i performed and paid for the development costs, even tho i am not commercial in any way, i dont think anyone gives away a really well working combination just be be nice on a forum where you rarely if ever actually meet the guys. Nothing anyone cant do with a little time and effort and understanding of the important stuff. Harrell resize, sized for the fired case, Wilson custom seater, good Berger 105s. Agreeably being able to self perform on machining is an advantage and allows for changes and fresh barrels as often as one likes. I try to promote the best return on investment and keeping it simple when i am asked. Bench is as bad as it gets regarding vodoo and black magic shooting theories. There are some regional differences but its a stretch.
All things being equal if there is one major differentiater which so many people over look its this, New broom sweeps clean. Good shooting, low round count barrels has been proven time over time to be a key factor, just ask Tony Boyer.
So shorter answer, the chamber i use for the 6BR is unique, but still clearly a 6BR, more importantly, everything is matched correctly and adds up to very very good shooting rifles.
As good or better than anything used in Bench Rest. As we all know the rest if the trigger-man.
