6br in a AR15

If I were looking at this... I would look at the Grendel or the latest ones that are the ARC version.

There is probably going to be a fresh wave of interest with Hornady supporting their ARC version with factory loaded ammo and promoting it to gun builders.

I watch YT videos when on the stationary bike in bad weather, and have noticed lots of new 6 ARC videos promoting it lately. It is pretty much just a clean-up of the Grendel design oriented toward standardized brass and ammo. It is also being promoted as an AR friendly cartridge.

Yeah ppc bolt face is as big as you want to go in an AR15. Even then, it's a good idea to buy a couple extra good aftermarket extractors because the oem extractors will probably break with stout loads. Also good to have an adjustable gas block to tune the rifle where it has just enough gas to reliably cycle and it minimizes abuse in the bolt face and extractor.

Could probably make the 6BR work in an AR10 if there's magazines for it or a way to modify existing mags.
