The safe company sent a moving crew to look at my house (built during the depression) to see if the safe I wanted would go on the second floor. They told me it would eventually end up in the basement! It went in the garage.

Contact your local safe dealer,, they have walking dollies.and should move it for a couple hundred bucks.I have my safe on a floor over a crawl space and no issues. When I moved, however my plan was to put my safe in the “bonus room” over our Garage. The moving company wouldn’t move it up the stairs no matter how hard I tried to persuade. It’s still downstairs but I still want to relocate it upstairs - I think it will make it!
Buy a knock down safe to start with. Moving problems over.
