6 Dasher dies, bushing or non bushing

I am getting my first 6 Dasher built. I am considering buying Whidden dies. What is the advantage of bushing dies over non bushing dies? It seems I can control neck tension with either style as they have one thousandth increments bushings and one thousandth increments ball expanders for the non bushing dies. Thanks

Just go for a Wilson FL bushing die. Well made, good value and you have a choice of bushings from various manufacturers..

If you can avoid having to pull a wedge back out of a case neck, all the better. Bushing dies get round the issue.

I use a Forster neck honed (no bushing) die with complete satisfaction. Barlow

Whidden fl bushing dies for me. I can actually change neck tension and they size perfectly and work smooth as silk.

Bushing dies give you far greater control over neck tension. Whether you turn your necks or not - you will appreciate being able to adjust the tension on the bullet.

Harrels bushing die and Forster Micrometer seater, And they are both reasonably priced. Just send in 3- 3x fired pieces of brass and he will pull the best die to fit your case.

I use the same combination of dies as Dave (aka muleystalker) and he is right, a reasonably price combination that provide excellent results.
