6 br/wilson die question?

just picked up a lprv with a krieger 1:8 26"barrel and it came with a sinclair arbor press and wilson dies in 6 br

the brass lapua has been formed by the previous owner and says he only fired 75 rnds through it

my question is it feels as if the bolt is hard to close and the shoulder should be bumped,this is my first time using hand dies and wondered how you bump the shoulder?

it is a 2 die set with micrometer seater, do i need another die or is this normal?

any input will be great

Probaly isn`t the shoulder depends on how the previous owner has set up the projectiles etc or if you are useing the same.
If you are loading hard into the lands the bolt will be a little hard to close as the projectile is pushed those last few Thousands of an inch into the lands.
Try an empty case after you have put it through the first die before loading.

The Wilson die will not bump the shoulder. Get a custom die like Harrels - just send them two fired cases and $75. I believe Hornady now produces a shoulder bump die, but I have no experience with it.

Forster also makes a bump die with a bushing to size the neck at the same time.

I switched to a small base Redding FL Bushing Die earlier this year for my 6BR. The rifle was chambered with a PTG reamer and since PTG grinds Redding's reamers for their dies, I thought I would try it. It worked flawlessly. I read a post at BR Central by Mike Bryant talking about some of the guys in his shooting circle doing the same thing, that’s where I got the idea. The other choices are just as good.

Sure he could, I just choose to narrow my sizing/loading process by one step. I was using the Wilson Bushing Neck Die and then the Redding Body Die. If he gets a small base body die it'll be the same/same.
