There is something you should be aware of. ALL Lapua Scenars have VERY long bearing surfaces for their weight. You would be doing yourself a great favor if you took that barrel to a riflesmith and have him take a "unithroater" and open that freebore to about .170! That would help greatly.. If you don't open it up you will have the bearing surface BELOW the neck / shoulder junction..

You suggested this to me in the past I'm glad I did in my set up I can easily get 3000 fps withe the 140 berger hybrids and the 123 scenars more not that I need to all I know it hammers.

8 twist 2209 / H4350 I was surprised myself I'm loading over 42 grains won't say exactly in case one decides to fill a case and try without work up.Wow.. that's amazing fps. What twist and powder are you using?
