that's what I useUse a 308 Small base die.
If you're having problems chambering your F/L sized cases it could be that your shell holder needs to be milled by a thou. or two maybe three. I had this problem with a 6.5X47L F/L die and it solved the problem. Measure your fired case from datum to base then measure the F/L sized case. You may find that your die has reached a critical point where it has pushed the shoulder FORWARD and can't be adjusted downward enough to actually push the shoulder back.
