6.5 Grendel subsonic load

Looking at loading my Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel with some subsonic loads for pest control. Looking to use the 147gr ELDM or similar. Will also be running suppressed. Ideas?

kwickload is saying 7.0 of H110 would give you 988 fps out of a 20 inch barrel.
...and 9 grains of H4198 would give you 1091fps.

300BO uses super heavy bullets because at subsonic velocity it needs the added mass to generate enough force to properly function the bolt in AR15.

In a bolt rifle you can use any weight bullet for subsonic. You can just as easily use a light bullet in the 6.5 Grendel (90gr-100gr).

What type/size of pests are you trying to put to sleep?

Giving 5gr of Promo a try. Should give 1100 fps in my 22" barrel.
