6*284 starting loads

RossL,
Yes I saw your post on neck wall thickness, I am sorry I hadn't got back to you but I wanted to be able to give you a precise answer. I don't have any that hasn't been neck turned, I do have some new 6.5*284 Lapua brass that hasn't had anything done to it and it measured .0145-.0155, I was surprised to see that much varience with Lapua brass?? I tried some H-4831 yesterday w/the 115 bergers,..not very impressive ??? I an going to try the Retumbo and RL-17 I have about 25 or 30 115s sorted and ready to load, If it doesn't show improvement by the last of the 115s I am switching to 105s or 107s and give them a try. I have been having some concentricity issues and I think I just about have those issues worked out. If it isn't windy the next few days I am going to give it a work out.
Wayne.

Wayne,
I have tried some H1000 on my friends 6-284 w/107's and mine with 95's and worked better on both than H4831. 4831 might be too fast for 115's. Might want to try some Magnum. Good luck.
John
