I have set up a bunch of mineral stations for the deer. I take a pecan tree preferably and cut it into rounds place a mineral block in the middle of the round and pour loose mineral around the block. You can add sodium bicarbonate, convection sugar, or jello to attract the deer. Once the deer start using the lick you have them hooked.
