50 bmg press ??

Ended up with this press in a deal and plan to sell,but need help on the value. Best I can tell its a Hornady lock n load made for the bmg etc. No dies but has the lock n load busching for standard dies and adapter for standard shell holders. Big critter,great shape. Ideas on value? Thanks!

Since you don't have the dies, I would ask no more than $ 300, maybe $ 350 for the press.

Cheapest you can buy a new one right now on sale ( with the dies ) is for $ 753. ( $ 740 for the press kit + $ 13 for shipping ) from Graf & Sons.

Dies alone cost over $ 300. Keep in mind, the Lee 50 BMG dies might cost only $ 100, but you can only use them in the LEE Classic Cast Press.

Whoever would pay $ 300 for your press would need to cough up another $ 350 for the dies, thus ending up spending at least $ 650 for a used press. Another $ 100 would get them a new one with the dies.

Even if the buyer finds the dies in the classified section for $ 100, they would still be $ 400 / $ 450 into it, and that sounds reasonable.. So charging more than $ 300 / $ 350 for the press might be a tough sell if they find the sale at Graf & Sons.
