5.56 Primer Uniformer

What primer uniformer from Brownells works on 5.56 cartridges?

I have the below one for small rifle and large rifle. I'm using CCI #41 primers and that is throwing me off a bit.

Are the lake city 5.56 primer pockets sized for small rifle primers?

Thanks!

Don't confuse uniforming of primer pocket depth, with removal of primer crimp.

When we decrimp, the cutter is shaped to remove the crimp, not necessarily to cut the bottom.

What you are looking for is a tool that cuts a chamfer at the facet between the base of the case and the diameter of the pocket.

Should look like this. Notice they do not sharpen the cross at the tip. Focus on the 45 near the top of the diameter at the base.

This tool below, is not designed to remove military crimp, it is designed to uniform the depth of the pocket.

All of these come in small and large. YMMV

Every 5.56 or 223 ( if you will) are the same small primer pockets. However the 5.56 (military) have a crimp on the primer pocket that need trimmed or swaged off to allow a new SRP to be seated.
Any number of primer pocket modifiers will do the job. I like the RCBS swage primer kit with the punch for SP and LP to cover either that need the crimp removed.
