40X action for F-Open?

My Dasher wears a 40x stainless single shot action. It works great, granted it’s not quite as smooth as a custom. But, it’s not an issue for me. The gun shoots.
Also, it’s stamped “Ilion” on the bottom, it’s a bit nostalgic for me as Remington is 15 miles from me. Who knows how long they’ll be in business in NY, thanks to the political climate here.

I've probably owned over 50 Rem 700's through the years. Also owned custom actions. Currently own 12 Rem's, a Stiller, and a Nesika. They can all win! They can all lose! I also owned a BAT, loved it....sold it!
Don't listen to the BS. You specifically mention F-class and the majority I know and who do win matches have no problem with a good 700! They have served me well in many calibers.
