Great work. Very interested in this once my to do list shrinks a little.

Did some chrono testing (new Athlon chrono) on some 300PRC putting more time on the original rest.
24in barrel + can netted 2830fps avg (2810 box rating), new chrono bracket worked good.

Trimmed the extra material out of the linear rails and shortened the legs to fit a 250mm cubed printer. Files coming soon.

Currently using an Anycubic Kobra S1 combo, 270hr in I've had 1 clog that I had to sort out.

Not much to update other than I've shot 50 rounds of 338LM off the orginal now.
It sits down under cover on my shooting table and seems to be holding together.
The ARCA clamp doesn't like to stay tight, I feel like its attachment screws need to be the longer pattern. A solution is in the works.
Added 2in stick-on rubber pads (from amazon) but it still likes to move the whole rig under recoil. But this 338LM uses all of my recoil stock travel and the rest is running out of recoil travel as well.
A bag rest is on my todo list, just been wrapped up in summer time construction.

I'd definitely say the rod needs to extend thru the weight all the way. Or don't leave it in the hot ish sun for months.
Now that I've sorted thru some gun gremlins that printed bag is climbing the list.
