So there I was, practicing with my .375 H&H and testing some loads prior to bear season:
When I fired a three shot group at 100 yards:
Now I don't claim to be able to do that every time, but dang, I'm going to have to re-visit that load when I get some more 260 grain Accubonds! They also penetrate and expand well:
Just a healthy, but not max, load of H4350 under those Nosler Accubond bullets at about 2650 fps. Nothing like a sub 1/2' group from a 4,000+ ft-lb load, hand-held, to get my attention! Unfortunately, am about out of those bullets so I'll be hunting with 300 gr Hornady bullets, which are also shooting well, but not That well!
More later, I'll have to see if I can do it again... Maybe I just flinched right, to put 'em all into that group! Yeah, that's it!
