.338 Lapua loading for magazine feed

With a .338 Lapua repeater w/DBM, if MAX coal for magazine is 3.825", what depth should I load rounds to maintain the magazine feed without worrying about the bullets getting slammed back? I was thinking 0.02-0.025", but I have not loaded for magazines before. Thanks.

I would base the length on that particular bullet's measurement to the lands, also depending on where that bullet likes to be seated to shoot well.
