338 Lapua freebore

Has anyone measured the free bore on a Sako TRG 42 .338 Lapua? I did some quick measurements of OAL to touch rifling with a Berger 300 and got 3.84". Most loads call for 3.68" and that will just fit in the magazine.
Anyone tried loads seated about 0.02" off rifling?
