30br switch barrel gun????

I have a nice 30br 17T barrel built on a Black Widow action. I am considerating turning it into a 6br or 6brx switch barrel to do a little 600 or 1000yd shooting as well. The gun is very similar to the one at the top of the accurate shooter.com home page. Will I lose any of the high .1 and low .2 accuracy that I now enjoy? I can also do this on a rem 700 action with a laminated stock and bipod instead of shooting off a competition rest and bags as I now do. I presently shoot group against the 6ppc guys on a club level and kind of enjoy trying to do it the hard way. Do you think I will be disappointed.

Each barrel is its own animal but if it shoots good now its got a good chance to shoot good later

IMHO you always seem to end up compromising with a switchbarrel set-up. Compete -yes....win ? -probably not as easily as a rifle strictly dedicated to the task.

Heck, most my rifles wear a nut system, and I still don't swap barrels like I thought I would.
