IMO the best way is to Glue & screw. I've had a glue in job come apart on me and I vowed that was the last time I was going to own a rifle with just a glue in bedding job. As far a someone saying a Bat is the best, well that's pure horseshit. The only thing about a Bat action is that it's the most popular right at this point in time but that's it. If you have a rifle built by a reputable gunsmith whether it be a Panda, Bat or Rimrock who specializes in SR benchrest like Ronnie Long, Bob Greene, Sid Goodling, Jim Borden, Dave Bruno, ect well that's one thing less that you have to worry about. It's not going to make you a better shooter, but it's a solid basis from which to start. Then there is the fact that you need to know how to tune a rifle, read the flags, and pull the trigger at the right time. See there are too many variable to pinpoint one thing that will win you matches. It's a combination of a lot of things and a little luck.I was thinking a pillar bedded setup.
