Smith suggestion for 30BR Barrel please

Alex Wheeler did both of my barrels, 1-18 twist Kreigers with .332" neck
shoots GREAT!

Ronnie Long in SC is definitely familiar with the 30BR. He is building very accurate rifles again, unfortunately he is getting pretty well back logged, someone must have a big mouth .I would definitely recommend at the very least a phone call to him. He has an absolute wealth of knowledge on the 30BR.

Alex Wheeler did my 30BR .332 neck. It's a Krieger barrel. Still in load development phase but it's the most accurate gun I've ever shot.

Also if you're in NY check out Hart barrels. They will supply the blank, which I think they make excellent barrels, and chamber said blank. Some others on here I've seen use Lilja barrels. Tons of great barrel makers out there though.

Edit: Barrel is 1-17 twist

Alex Wheeler did a 30 BR for a club member, of his custom guns, the Wheeler barreled chamber was the smoothest, and it shoots!

Contact Alex for a lead time. I believe he keeps some barrels on hand. He had Bartlein send the barrel to Alex.

My most recent purchase from another vendor was done in 6wks, 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule. Lead times seem to have gotten a little better recently.
