.308 Loads with Reloader 17/H4350

FWIW I tried Reloader 17 and 185 grainers today in my .308 with great success. Went as far as 48.5 gr. but settled upon 47.5 gr. w/ velocity of 2820, ES of 14, SD of 6. Held perfect waterline at 600 yards (regardless of the gusty winds). Lapua cases, BR4 primers, 32" Bartlein 11" twist barrel.

I once used Reloder 17 with 210 LRBT, Mike. It produced very accurate loads and good velocity but was too temperature sensitive. I now use H4350 with 230 Hybrids. Great accuracy and low numbers.

Hey Steve! I believe you (of all people believe me), just the only powder of quantity I have on hand. The H4350 loads were similar if not exact duplicates.

I still have a jug of it, too. I need to figure out where to use it. My 9" twist .22-250 might shoot 77 Sierras pretty good with RL17. There's just no farmers or ranchers around that will allow crow shooting on their property.
