.308 Habu? Or should I trade barrel and move on?

Newbie here,
Back in August I Purchased a custom Trueflte barrel here that is chambered in .308 Habu, it's is about 31" long and has a 1-13 twist I believe. This was a barrel belonging to a member of Team USA for F-Class, and is basically set up to be able to compete in 1k comp and pass the "150 Bisley Rule".

Here lies my problem, I won't be shooting in any F Class matches. I will mainly be shooting local Benchrest at about 100,200,300,400 & 600 yds max. I need a barrel that will perform well and be competitive with the guns I shoot against. These are mostly 6BR, 6.5 Creedmoore, and faster twist .308

This Barrel is for a Large Shank Savage, but I have purchased another barrel for that action. Here is what I am considering. I have another Savage M12action that is small shank, I could have this Trueflite barrel shank turned down to fit the small shank reciever. Also I would consider cutting the Barrel down from 31" to something shorter and having it recrowned, but Im not sure if I'm screwing up or not.

Or, should I just try to trade or sell this barrel and move on to another custom .308 or maybe 6.5 Creedmoore.

The .308 Habu is a close version of the .308 Obermeyer. There are several .308 versions such as the Obermeyer, Habu, Bisley, Palma, and a Canadian version. These are all used in F-Class , but since the "150 Rule" on international matches some of these will not pass where the 150 Rule is in place. The Habu is most like the Obermeyer but with a bit more lead. The Palma is most popular here in and has the shortest lead.

I think he is refering to the international palma rules where a person has to use a bullet of 156gr or less. Something like that. Here in the states we do not have that limit. If you want to shoot a 190gr you are good.
