.308 FL sizer for 6br

I did this.
cleaned between 5 shot string forgot to dry patch the bore
next round stiff opening the bolt marked the case did this twice
after shoulder bump tried the 2 marked cases, tight in the chamber
sized these 2 w/ the .308 die just enough to bring the shoulder back to match the reference case
this is good, ya!!!
ready to reload, ya???

The .308 Winchester sizing die will not even touch the shoulder on the 6mm BR cartridge. Just get the proper die set and you should not have a problem! By the way, wet cleaning the rifle between groups will not help with your groups. The first shots after cleaning will not go to the same point of impact as shots fired from a fowled barrel.

i have the bump die but that does touch the sides
i will order the fl sizing with shoulder bump
i get it just did not have 6br fl die so i used the .308 to bring the sides in a bit

when should you wet clean?
