300RUM barrel life?

If your pushing one on the hotter side with Heavy bullets what would the exspected barrel life be in general.

If you don't use a muzzle brake like I do, your life might be shorter than the barrel's. Only help I can offer is that my factory 7mm Ultra lasted about 700 rounds before it started south. I'd think the 300 would be somewhat longer, maybe around 1,000.

I have had one for 3 barrels and at 1000 rounds they are done.
