208 AMAX 210 berg 220smk? in a 300rum

Anyone shooting the 208 AMAX out of a 300RUM? i'm looking for some load data, just got a new 300RUM with a 30' rockcreek 1-10 5r barrel and i'm wanting to try some new loads using retumbo 208 AMAX 210 bergers 220 smk's any help would be awesome

Matt, same chamber pressures with a 30' barrel and the 208 A-max as my reply in the reloading forum but the velocity moved up tp 3005 fps going from a 26' to a 30' barrel.+

Parameters I have set up in Q.L. are:

COAL ; 3.65, start pressure of 8750 psi, 91 grns Retumbo, 208 A-max, Ambient temp 85 degrees

If that COAL doesnt have you with the bullet in the lands when you chamber it, expect to drop about 75 or 80 fps off of the above prediction. Chamber pressure will also drop approx 3500 psi

MT300RUM, I'm shooting a 30', 11.25 twist 5R, Rock Creek. With 91.5 grs of RL25, lit with a CCI standard, behind a Berger 210VLD, at 3.652 OAL It's running 3149 fps, no pressure signs at all from mid 60's to 100+ degrees. On the 6th loading of Remmy Brass, trimmed once. Primer pockets are tight. I really like Rock Creek Barrels!!!
