In case anyone lands here via google/search, looking for H1000 loads - I've tried two loads so far in a 30" bartlein. My "safe" load was 67.5 gr of H1000 and I got about 2750 FPS:I hope it's ok to resurrect this thread, I'm pretty new to this forum - I'm getting ready to have a long action WSM built out and reamed for running 220 hybrids. The consensus seems to h4350 for 210s and lighter, and RL23 as the magic powder for heavies, but in 2025, Reloader 23 and 26 are unobtanium/basically discontinued until further notice.
Has anyone had luck with 220-230 grain bullets with other powders? I saw that Mark and Sam After Work got up to 2900ish with H1000 (looks like they started to see some slight pressure signs) and Retumbo equivalents. I'm wondering what the WSM crowd is using as a replacement, or if they've all just switched over to PRC.

N560 is in the same burn rate range as RL-23 and H4831sc. I personally have never tried it. But if the aforementioned powders work (and they do) N560 should be just fine! BUT with 215+ grain bullets.Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but will N560 work for the WSM? I have a lot available for my 300WM.
Is N560 as stable as N555?
Will be using 215s.
Not sure you can get enough powder in the case to drive the 220s competitvely...I run 64.6gr of H4831sc for the 220s with ADG brass. I reckon I would have to be up around 68gr which wouldn't leave a lot of room for the bullet, at least with my freebore.Have any of you tried H1000 with the 220’s?
