With RL23 I was able to push the 215s at 2920 and they definitely shoot up there. With 2213sc (H4831sc), the 220s seem happy around 2800-2820fps, considerably slower than the 215s but there's just no way I can see the 220s shooting near 2900fps without severely trashing your brass.Where are the F-Class fellas running the 215's?
I've gathered
2800-2850
2900 +- a little
I've had some guys tell me 3000! (Absolute MOAB)
Is that a truck axle by chance? Very nice. How about the whole rig when it's ready?!?
I requested 300WSM / N555 load data from Berger and recieved several load for several bullets… it took awhile before I recieved the e-mail from them… yes.. I found it to work very well with 180GR. Ive found N555 works for 6.5 Creedmore, 22 Creedmore 7PRCW also..seems like N555 would be a good powder for this case, just thinking don't even have a 300 wsm
What is a good starting point with N555, if you would please?N555 works great....not sure about N560 or N565.
They are not finicky about jump or jam. Usually jump them from 20k off to 60k offDo the 215's like to be jumped or jammed, how much?
I started at 63g of N555 and got 2780 ish and worked up to 64.8 and got 2860 That's in a 30 inch barrel. What is a good starting point with N555, if you would please?
Both. .020 in and .015-.020 off are normalish. Theres bigger jumps too.Do the 215's like to be jumped or jammed, how much?
Forgot to say this was with the 215 berger hybridsI started at 63g of N555 and got 2780 ish and worked up to 64.8 and got 2860 That's in a 30 inch barrel.
