300 Mag version of 6BR-AI (BRA)!

I'll bet if Lapua made 300 WSM brass, or Peterson or ADG, then there wouldn't be any of these cool 30 cal wildcats. While the grain of powder difference between a 6BRA and a Dasher seems to help a little, it's unlikely there is any meaningful difference between a 300 WSM and a 300 SAUM AI. The tuner's ability will be the biggest factor.

I lucked into 200 Nosler 300 WSM cases the other day for $1.80 each. When I go through those I may have to switch to the RSAUM AI. I would just need a reamer and a go gauge.......
The 2 grains or so difference in the 300wsm vs the 300 saum imp is percentage wise about the same. Will it matter? I dont know.

So how do you think the Norma and Nosler Brass compare in 300WSM?
The Lot of Norma brass I purchased was a 1600 round box back in the days of Bullets.com, and a few other 100 round bags from Brownell’s when 300 WSM brass was easier to find. (About 3 years ago).
I purchased 2 Ea. 25 round boxes of Nosler brass to do a comparison test to see how it held up. - The Nosler brass that I got has held up and does shoot accurate in a 17 Lb. Light-Gun class rifle. - So, my experience in comparison is pretty limited. - I treated both manufacturer’s brass the same in that I neck-turned both, uniformed the primer pockets and de-burred the flash holes. And the weight check comparison on both brands was very close.
I can’t say how the present Nosler brass compares as I have plenty of brass in this caliber. - I’m hoping that one or more of the companies like ADG, Lapua, Peterson, or Alpha will step up and produce some brass in 300 WSM to see if they bring it up another notch as far as quality and strength. - I believe that the demand is there and I’m not real sure why they haven’t tooled up and produced this caliber. IMO 300 WSM is as popular and in demand as many of the presently produced calibers that are being offered.

I always wanted to see a 6bra scaled to the magnum bolt face diameter in 7mm.

Like exactly to scale.

Then shoot the Sierra 190.

Is there something like this?

Necked up 6.5 prc may be close to that. I think Alex has a reamer, I actually want a 30 version of that as well lol.

I have a 7 saum imp reamer with 40 degree shoulder. My 7-6.5 PRC reamer keeps the 30 degree shoulder. You could put a 40 degree shoulder on the 6.5 PRC case and get close to what your after.

Looking at the pictures of the case it appears that the case looks more like a big 6xc than a big 6br.

I would like to see it with the shoulder pushed back 125 thou and get that short fat case thing.
