My sako feeds 6BRs and anything but 55's, the best being 80-90 hunting type round nose bullets with no problems. Minor tweaks if theres a problem- my rem 700 in BR was a bit finicky- so I glued a follower into it..
I shot a couple of deer 8 or so years ago with 6x47 from 150 to 225 yards and barnes bullets, whomp- down on the spot.
30 might be a better choice, but I'd go with the 6BR!
