If you find the right load, it doesn't really matter how you got there. However, in my experience one three shot group is not a large enough sampling. I shoot three three shot groups and take the average. More groups won't tell you any more than three, but a flier in a single group can send you off in the wrong direction. I plot the results on a graph and the curve will tell me where the accuracy node is within +/- .1 grain.
But "It's difficult to argue with success".
