Well I couldn’t leave well enough alone. I had to do a seating depth test based on my results of testing a new lot of Bullets I made last week.
So this evening I loaded 4 each at 31.7 grains of Varget with a 450m primer and my 103 bullet.
The wind today was 3-4 mph and switching all over. As I sat and would shoot a sighted and wait and shoot another figuring out the wind and what I wanted to shoot in. I laid out 4 rounds and sat and waited. When the wind got where I wanted it I shot one more sighter and then realized I used one of my test rounds. So that’s e reason of only 3 shots on one.
On the upper right target that high shot was my last shot and as I pulled the trigger a gust of wind kicked up and shot high and then the wind shifted to the left as seen in the bottom 2 groups. So what could of been another mid 1” group went to 2” oh well. I made up for it on the last two groups.
Today’s weather was in the low 70’s and partly cloudy.
All groups shot at 500 yards.
