.30-06 F-Class Rifle

Not a fan of the racist and vulgar rifle name...

But a beautiful rifle!
Very, very Sad. I'm sorry for your poisoned point of view. My hope is that you are in fact an African American. If not, again I'm very sorry for how you view a name to be racist/ vulgar in it's form on this forum. It was in no way shape or form placed in a statement of race or gender. It was easily transformed tho and unnecessarily so.

I have always loved the .30-06 round. Hunted for years with it. I have an M1 Garand which is a blast to shoot. I went with a .308 for my target rifle for cost of shooting but had thought about the .30-06. At times, I wish I had gone that route.
I also use the XLR chassis, but the Evolution. A very solid base to mount the rifle.

Don’t worry about what people will say about you/us (gun owner). We are often called names not for what we say but for who we are, gun owners! When we are called racists it is because its a useful tool. It forces one to spend all their time and energy defending against the label racist, while demonizing you in all public forums. If the label sticks (truth does not matter) then your opinion doesn’t matter.

You have been silenced!

How does one defend against this, argue your points and do not accept the labels that are being assigned to you. Do not give an inch, do not concede a single point (they will not),

be respectful, be yourself and be happy.

Sorry for the off topic response. Back to the black rifle thread. I own a couple ARs because black guns do matter. No BS, they matter in the field, range or defense. These are not assault rifles but sporting rifles that get a bad rap. They look bad ass yes. But they are no different than my Remington 742, Browning BAR 270 or Winchester 100. All semis but without the all black intimidating look. No, I'm not saying that black people look intimidating so please don't go there. I'm making a point that Black guns ( ARs) have purpose to law abiding gun owners/shooters/hunters. I don't use mine very often as they just aren't as user friendly toting in the woods (IMO) as my bolt guns or even semi auto slim stocked carry rifles. I suspect eventually just the color of rifles will intimidate to the point that they'll be labeled assault rifles. They actually are today by some people. At family get togethers, I hear some of my relatives make comments on a picture of a black bolt action rifle being called an assault rifle. I have to educate them on facts. Lack of knowledge and too much media BS really takes its toll on the uninformed obviously. BTW, your Black Bitch rifle is a beauty.

Funny how triggered some people have become over a critique of a stupid name for a rifle.

:)
Yep, And there are two new ones on IGNORE. YOU being one of them.
What's funny, not , is how some people want to make an issue out of something that only offends the chosen few and the others can't say anything. Drop it and be a man. If you don't like it move on to something you do like. Tired of the whining ALL the time of this or that offends me. Man up and move on. Now let's get back to talking shooting or move on please. Rant over and if you don't like it move on.

So, Lone Hunter, you have your little rant and temper tantrum over my critique of a rifle's name, then tell me to man up and move along.

Irony, you has it, bro.

Yes, I think the name is racist and vulgar. Don't agree with me? Too bad.

It's called having a guilty conscience. I'm not racist and could care less what people call there rifles. Obviously some can't look in the mirror and say that.

You didn't read my comment well enough, apparently. Reading comprehension. It's important. :)

But, congrats on the virtue signalling.

Noted.

I'm with Garandman on this one.
I'm just not that critical on names when it's clearly not a race issue. You can make it one but that doesn't make it one. Sorry I do not agree with your meaning or view.

Man a lot of folks are getting their "manginas" hurt over the name someone calls their rifle. Trusty is my go to rifle for now. A Savage 223 with a Shilen barrel. It may be replaced shortly with my 300 WSM but we shall see. Has anyone been offended by "Savage" and the use of an indian logo? Black is a color.. Bitch is a female dog or a derogatory name for a female. I have heard it used as a pet name by one guy for his wife. That was odd. So by the name "Black Bitch" I conclude the rifle is black and feminine. Why would you hold a dude so gently near your face, right? Unless you are a female or of an alternate life style.

And yes I would think a 06 would be a bit much for an F-class gun. Might as well do the 300 WSM or 7mm version.

For those that believe this is racist and wrong, don't go around a dog show or trial, as you will hear Black bitch, used often for some breeds of female dogs. And for sure the owners are not racist, when they use that term.
Only twisted minds twist a common saying.
