Neck up Lapua 6.5-284 or buy Winchester .284. I do the latter.

I can get a good deal on some lapua 6.5-284 brass so I was hoping that is a good way to go.

Either way is good. Lapua brass is usually very uniform and durable. Winchester brass is also durable, requires more case prep but is cheaper. Take your pick.

I use winchester for my 6-284. Works well, not as nice as Lapua but costs a lot less.

If you can get Lapua cheap than go for it.
