I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel here, rather to see what different mfg. brass are thinner or thicker.New brass capacity is way different than fire formed capacity (what matters).
And FF'd capacity is set by different chambers.
If you try to choose by case weight, then that would depend on how much brass is removed with case preps
So somebody elses' capacity is not what yours will be.
With what bullet?I like to pick up range brass, clean it, size & prime it, then compare it.
I can tell you that Hornady 270 brass has the most case capacity by FAR.
I loaded 60 grains of H4831 in a FC, and Horn case and noted a difference of 150fps difference over my Lab Radar
60 grains of H4831 in a Hornady case is not even compressed yet. In the FC and Starline cases it is heavily compressed.
Winchester brass sits in the middle.
I have not got my hands on Remington brass in that caliber.
