Good to hear on the surgery! What's a 'BIB'?
Yesterday's surgery was successful.
Sure wish he'd offer more of the 110s. Those were some great bullets.Showing the 110gr BIB as not available.
Looks like you might be able to order the 88gr.
R26 must be denser than 17; I got a series of charges of R26 up thru 50g. behind the H134s.. Also bought a pound of StaBALL HD, which is the next step slower than Retumbo in Hodgdon's burning-rate chart, and assembled a series thru 50g. with that.I don't have much room left with RL17 in the 25 WSSM.
Not sure there's enough case for RL26.
Did you check out EGW?Well, I got to Ben Avery today but had a few problems.. First, the scope I was using, a very expensive Zeiss, couldn't be adjusted down enough to overcome the 20MOA rail I was using, so siting was 'difficult', and then the Winchester factory loads I bought chambered so difficultly that I coudn't shoot them, so I went home.. FWIW, my handloads worked just finely.. Couldn't find ANYWHERE a 'flat' scope rail, but I discovered that a different Zeiss scope with more elevation range could be screwed down far enough (I think) so I mounted that.
Also tweaked the headspacing a little and all the ammo now fits and the no-go headspace gage 'no-gos'.. Never even got to see if my LabRADAR still works.. Going back tomorrow morn.
Well aren't YOU useful! TYVM, I ordered 2.
There's nothing in the Instructions about a zero-stop, so I disassembled the top turret and found nothing that looks like an artificial or adjustable rotational stop to me.. But I reinstalled the Zeiss 4.8-35, and next time to the range, I'll also bring the 4-12X.. I also ordered two flat rails from EGW, thx to std7mag.. The Savage 12 Benchrest Rifle is a single-shot, dual-port, round-top action with a 3.9n" screw-centerspan.You sure you don't have a zero stop enabled on the first Zeiss ?
