243 win 8 twist shooting 80 gr

Need some advice from the folks here please... I need to replace my 243 barrel and I can get a 8 twist barrel right away... I have 800 Nosler 80gr bullets.

Would it be ok to shoot 80gr Noslers with the 8 twist?

80 grain should be spot on pal.but if i was you i would use some 105 grain Amax in that twist,would be aswum

With the 8 twist you can shoot any weight you choose. The only thing that might not work is thin jacketed bullets that are not meant for high rpms imparted by the twist and there aren't a lot of bullets like that any way.
