22br over all length question

This question has probably been covered a thousand times.
But....just curious what others are running for an overall length on their 22br rounds.
I know the Berger load book for a 52 grainer shows 2.20"
Whats your experience in OAL?

I pay little attention to OAL other than working with a new to me cartridge.
When I find a load that shows promise I will tinker with ogive length.
The two 22BR rigs I have worked with were a pure pleasure and not fussy at all.
I treat my new one like a cheap date, feed it what I have on hand or in partial containers.
FYI I run nothing but 71/2’s or 450 primers.
Go shoot it.

I have no clue, as others have mentioned. Just seat most any bullet. 010 to .015 into the rifling and shoot bug holes. What are you trying to accomplish?

Bergers 2.20 is to long for short bullets. If you look at the berger loading data book it shows 2.20 for all their bullets. Make a dummy load with the bullet you want to shoot pushed to the bottom of the neck and tell your gunsmith to ream it so the ogive just touches the lands.
