I emailed PT&G last year with the same question and they replied with .080" Freebore.
I purchased their recommended reamer: 22 BR LAPUA FINISHER .2515NK .080FB

As the throat wears, (and it will, sooner than you might expect) o_O you'll have to go to heavier bullets to reach the lands. Start with the lightest bullets and go heavier as the throat wears.
I would go with ZERO freebore and start with 50 grain bullets. Deadly accurate.:cool: You can go with a longer freebore if you don't like it BUT, you can't go shorter without a rechamber or set back.;) Plan ahead.:D

+1 on the zero free bore. An .080 free bore might be good for those bullets in a 223 but the 22BR neck is approx .060 longer than a 223 and with the 22BR case one should not need a longer free bore to gain a little powder capacity.

I shot a 22BR with 75 AMax that John Kruzan owns at 800 yards one day and it shot well,,

it should be easier on bbls than a 22-250 shouldnt it??

I would like something cheap to shoot from 300-500 yards and I really like the 69 SMK and 75 VLDs
