223 neck sizing problem

The AR15 rifle has three different length gas systems and you need enough port pressure to cycle the action. Also having the correct weight buffer for your gas system is necessary to cycle the action.

I had problem w/ 223 fitting he ollet on a Lyman(among other problems).

About 4 yrs ago (when the NRA convention was in Phoenix) I discussed it w/ Lyman folks. They turned me a 224 and 308 (for 30-06) collets by a few thousands and no more problem.

Thanks again, what I ennded up doing was, I chucked up the pilot in the drill press and at high speed I kissed it with a mill file just enough to fit snug in the problem cases. I figure for the cost of a pilot ($5) it would be a good way to trim the cases down to the trim to length. After I fire them and resize, if the outside neck turner pilot fits I'm good. I'll buy a new pilot for the trimmer and use this one for removing the crimped portion of the neck. Like someone said earlier I can see that it would make any difference. I'll have to see how loose the pilot fits the next time they need to be trimmed. Now I have to work uip a load for the rifle. I bought a Savage model 12fcv. It is a 9 twist. I've read that the 50-70 grainers were best with this twist. Any suggestions on powder?
