I scrapped that idea years ago.....LOL. That was back when a few of us on Saubier was toying with .150,.175 and .195 short cases. I did do a shortened 20 case which I called the 5mm Nitro and later someone came along and did a 20 Nitro . I believe the 20 Nitro is akin to 20/6BR Ackley.

I actually have a vintage 90’s era 6 Talldog form bushing and FL die that was used by a benchrest shooter that now escapes me. Maybe I will pull that out tomorrow.

I have chambered many 22 Waldogs over the years for several guys that shoot in Colo,Wyo and UT. Most use the .125 short and some .115 short also .100 short. I still have one myself. Mike Lewis from Pine Dale Wyo used to kick are ass with one every time he shot in Ault Colo. He has many HOF points racked up here at our range in Ault. So doe's Dan Dowling and a few others. Even old Wilky from Medicine Bow before he passed on to the Range in the sky God Bless him.

Anyone have any dies and reamers they want to part with. I used to shoot these short 22’s years ago. Best match I ever competed at was with a .100 short 22 ppc. I went away from it when I started chambering barrels and building rifles for hire. I’d sure like to build another.

Call Bob White at Shooter's Corner, he has a lot of the older/ odd stuff and is a great guy to deal with.

That he is, l shot agents him and other shooter at Baileys Winchester range in English town NJ around 1976 l still have his business card from that time, payed Bob a visit 10 years a go and picked up some odds & ends his place is like a museum show case with stuff from years ago, l even sold Bob my Rem.40XBR a sale l regret.
l even sent Bob this picture from around 1976 thinking it was him with red hair at an unlimited shoot at Baileys range but he said nope never had red hair.

If it is a Dowling chambered WalDog, Harrells will shorten a ppc die to match it and they actually work very well. Dan's reamer works well with this setup........ maybe by design?

It was named for Walter Deckert.
